First Year Advisor
A part of the Office of Student Affairs, the First Year Advisor is here to help you take your first steps towards your education at Acadia University. Choosing your program, an explaination of the fees, or just general questions, the First Year Advisor is ready to assist you in any way possible to make your enrollment here a great experience rather than a tedious one.
Academic Support
This office's mission is to provide support for students and encourage their success while at Acadia University. The Academic Resource office offers both seminars on topic that appeal to students and provide references to important information for the campus at large such as Disability Access, the Student Resource Centre, Academic Advising.

The Student Resource Centre is an office that supports the students, faculty and staff of Acadia University in a variety of areas. This office looks after Counselling Services, Disability Access Services, Employee Assistance Program, Mental Health, and more.

Co-operative Education
Co-op enables students to gain hands-on, paid experience at a job related to their field of study. Co-operative education students are among Acadia's best, and it is therefore an excellent opportunity for employers to evaluate them as potential full-time employees. When a student brings new ideas and concepts learned during their work terms back to the classroom, Acadia's learning environment is enhanced.
Open Acadia
Open Acadia is Acadia University's initiative to offer flexible programming and learning opportunities to Acadia students and the greater community. Open Acadia delivers Acadia’s online and intersession (spring and summer) courses, in addition to a number of other programs available online, on-campus, and on-site.
Academic Librarians
As a student at Acadia, you have a librarian to assist you with research in each of your courses. Librarians can show you how to navigate through library resources and will help you to find, organize, and cite information for your assignments and papers.
Acadia Centre for Social & Business Entrepreneurship
ACSBE helps students capture the essence of enterprising behavior by providing opportunities to apply knowledge and skills in real settings, take initiative, be venturesome, resourceful, and ambitious.

The Counseling Centre website has an enormous amount of information and resources to help you succeed at Acadia and beyond.
Student Access and Information Services
SAIS allows you to login to add/drop courses, view class schedules, check your marks, etc.
Success Seminars
These seminars provide many of the tools needed to succeed at university. They are free and open to any student, however if you are academically at-risk, attendance would be advisable.
Writing Centre
Our mission is to help you become the best writer you can be. Whether you are a first-year undergraduate student or a Master's student, we can work with you one-on-one to help you improve your communication skills.
Math Support Centre
Our goal is to provide help with the mathematics or statistics content in your courses.
