Welcome from Acadia University's President
As President and Vice-Chancellor, and on behalf of the entire Acadia University community, including more than 28,000 graduates, I welcome you online. Acadia has a reputation for excellence, and has been offering students a unique experience since its founding more than 177 years ago. Small wonder our graduates have made and continue to make their mark personally and professionally both here at home and in myriad places around the globe.
During my career, I have had the opportunity to work with people from universities and colleges across Canada. Our professors have always been regarded as among the most innovative teachers, researchers and community leaders in the nation, and our graduates among the best performers. There is a strong and viable interconnection between the two that distinguishes Acadia and its alumni from almost any other post-secondary institution in Canada.
It's no secret that when you come to Acadia, you can go anywhere. Members of our alumni community are proof positive of that, and Acadia is grateful for your involvement and ongoing support.

Welcome from the Associated Alumni President
I will never forget Saturday, Sept. 3, 1983. That was the day I moved into my room at 110 Eaton House and my Acadia story began – a four-year undergraduate adventure with new friends for life and small classes with great professors.
I have the same excitement as I return to Acadia as president of your alumni association. Every one of us has an Acadia story, and I would never have been able to accomplish what I have without Acadia University. We all owe Acadia a debt of gratitude and it is our duty to pay it back whenever we can.
My call to action is simple. If you are not already doing so, get engaged with Acadia again. Consider attending an alumni event, coming back to campus for Homecoming, a reunion or another occasion. Help us recruit students in your area or send an update about what you’re doing. You can also help us raise money by giving to the Annual Alumni Fund.
Together, we can help Acadia grow exponentially!
