National Philanthropy Day is being marked in countries around the world on Wednesday, November 15. At Acadia University, November 15 also marks the celebration of our founding. In 1838, our doors opened because of philanthropy and hard work.

Today, we say thank you to everyone who supports our campus community - whether that is by cheering in the stands, volunteering to help others, or making a thoughtful donation.

Every act of helping those in need is recognized as philanthropy.
