    Then come to an information session about AFRED, the Atlantic Facilities and Research Equipment Database.  

Sponsored by Science Atlantic, ACOA, and NSERC, AFRED is an online database designed to increase the use of specialized research infrastructure in our region by connecting potential users with the facilities that host the equipment.  

As a spinoff, the system will also increase interaction between industry and academia through supporting infrastructure and research and development needs in the private sector.

At this Lunch & Learn, Program Manager Patty King will present an overview of AFRED, how it can be a valuable tool for you, and how to get involved. A light lunch will be provided
