"Who Cares?" ethnodrama
September 23, 2015
Wednesday, September 23, 7:00 p.m. Lower Denton Theatre
"Who Cares?” - an ethnodrama about caregiving, feeding family, love, and survival based on research conducted with family members who are supporting or who have supported loved ones living with changed health status and at end of life.
The event will include a brief backgrounder on the research project that informed the ethnodrama, a ‘taster’ of the ethnodrama piece, a community dialogue about feeding support of loved ones, and a reception.
Offering their talents to the ethnodrama are Cheryl McLean, Harrison McCain Visiting Scholar, ethnodramatist, and Founder/Editor of the International Journal of Creative Arts in Interdisciplinary Practice, Paula Rockwell, School of Music, and Robert Seale, Department of English and Theatre.
Sincere thanks to the Harrison McCain Foundation for supporting Cheryl McLean (www.cherylmclean.com) as a Visiting Scholar, and the Acadia University Research Fund for supporting Catherine Morley’s research that got this project started!
