Rooms are available in residence for students taking intersession classes in the spring and summer for the period of time they are attending classes. At peak periods a second residence may also be opened.
We currently only provide summer accommodations for students taking classes and not for the general public. If you wish to book accommodations for a conference or event, please contact the Box Officeon 1-800-542-8425.
Residence fees for intersession accommodations are $191 (plus tax) per week or $47.75 (plus tax) per night for short stays of under 5 nights.
If you stay on campus in excess of one month while taking classes, we do not charge tax.
All students in residence for intersession will receive a private room furnished with a single bed, desk, lamp, chair, closet and telephone. All rooms have access to wired and wireless high speed internet access. Cable television may be purchased directly from Eastlink, if required. Students are responsible for their own towels and other bathroom requirements. Acadia will provide bed linens or you can use your own. A coin operated laundry room is available in the building.
Once you have completed this form, you will be taken to a page with a link to our secure online payment page, alternatively you may phone us at (902) 585-1417 for other payment options. Payment must be made before collecting your room key.
Practice rooms are available in Denton Hall, upon request, for music students. As a courtesy to other residents, practicing is not permitted in our residences.
Mail service may be arranged through the Information Desk in the Student Union Building.

If you need a room within 48 business hours of completing this form, please also telephone (902) 585-1417 to confirm availability.
We cannot usually accept bookings with less than 24 business hours of your planned arrival.
Cancellations must be received 24 hours before your planned arrival.
Please note that meal plans are not available during the intersession period. The summer residence contains a full kitchen that you may use. We do not provide cooking utensils, dishes or pots so you may want to bring some with you. Dates and times Wheelock Dining Hall is open are posted on a weekly basis in the residence, so you may choose to eat at dining hall when they are opened.
