Congratulations and welcome to Rev. Dr. Lennett J. Anderson

Please join us in taking this opportunity to congratulate Rev. Dr. Lennett J. Anderson on his recent appointment as Lecturer in Leadership and Racial Justice at Acadia Divinity College.

We echo the words of welcome extended by Dr. Anna Robbins, President of Acadia Divinity College, and look forward engaging Dr. Anderson in the life of our campus community as we undertake the work of the Acadia’s Anti-Racism Task Force. Acknowledging the breadth and depth of Dr. Anderson’s experience in redressing racial injustice in Atlantic Canada, we are confident both ADC and Acadia will benefit from his exceptional expertise and passion.

Rev. Anderson is a graduate of Dalhousie University and Acadia University (MDiv ’00) and was ordained to Christian ministry in 2001. A retired commissioned Officer in the Canadian Forces Dr. Anderson has been recognized with numerous awards including the Medal of Excellence from the Navy League of Canada, the Canadian Forces Decoration Medal, the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, the Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Citizenship, and an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from St. Thomas Christian College. In 2016 he received ADC’s Alumni Distinguished Service Award for significant contributions to ministry in his community and beyond.
