As Acadia's plans for campus re-opening and fall term unfold, we continue to grapple with the financial implications of the pandemic. Today, I am announcing some further expense mitigation measures in addition to the COLA freeze announced last month.

The senior leadership team, including the President, the Provost and Vice-Presidents, and all members of the President's Executive Council and the Strategic Leadership Council, will take an unpaid six-day furlough in the 2020-21 fiscal year. The senior leadership team is committed to making its contribution to easing the University's budget shortfall.

Together, we can ensure that Acadia comes through this emergency situation intact, and in a strong position to fully recover and continue on the strategic path that we have worked so hard to develop over the past few years.
