Are you an Acadia University student of African descent?
Here is a wonderful opportunity for you to participate in a study conducted by Dr. Alicia Noreiga-Mundaroy of the Department of Community Development. Attend any of three trips to four African heritage sites in Nova Scotia to learn about African Nova Scotian history, form solidarities, and explore your cultural linkages.
The cost of attending the trips is free.
Interested students must attend an initial meeting and focus group discussion on Monday, September 23rd, at 5:30 p.m. at the Acadia University Campus Chapel Basement.
For more information, please see the poster below or contact Dr. Alicia Noreiga-Mundaroy.
This study is approved by the Acadia University Ethics Board (REB #24-41).
