Geoff Gates ('13) has a challenge for fellow alumni who volunteered with the S.M.I.L.E. program. The former student director says Giving Tuesday is a great time to give back to S.M.I.L.E. 

Gates explains that the reason he donates to S.M.I.L.E. every year is simple. "It's because they gave me so much!" He adds that the program "really informed and had a major impact on my growth while at Acadia and it influenced who I am today." 

As an extra incentive on Giving Tuesday, donations will be matched up to a total of $1,500.

The Acadia community, current students, participants, and parents are encouraged to give back if they can, too!
