Hidden away on an unassuming road in the quiet Nova Scotian community of Scotts Bay is the entrance to the Cape Split trail. Sometimes it is easy to become daunted by the numbers. 16 kilometres to hike. 450 feet above the ocean. Five hour round trip. But our students are always up for a challenge! With packed lunches, water and an appetite for adventure, we set out onto the provincial trail in eager anticipation of one of Nova Scotia’s most breathtaking vistas.
