Is there a song that every Canadian should know?

Music, like a book, can shift our perspective and challenge us to view our world in a new light. And so, inspired by the CBC’s annual Canada Reads competition, the Canada Listens! project aims to find that Canadian song that opens not only our ears, but our hearts and mind.

In this presentation, the students of the 2023 Music In Canada Class (MUSI 3223) will introduce you to music by noteworthy Canadian artists that is both uplifting and thought-provoking. Come and be inspired… come and be challenged… and come join in the vote for the 2023 Canada Listens! winner!
