On Thursday, September 28, the Acadia School of Music Concert & Lecture Series presents Jeff Torbert…and friends!

This presentation/performance features an abundance of collaborative music led by Acadia faculty guitarist Jeff Torbert, including the world premiere of US composer Daniel Heidt’s piece Unlooped Loops composed for Torbert (plus a few dozen electronic versions of himself).  Also premiering will be a new duo piece written with Argentinian saxophonist Kenny Talkowski Spector.  Performers and collaborators featured in the concert include dancer Susanne Chui, Halifax musicians Matt Reiner, Doug Cameron, Adam Fine, and India Gailey (also Acadia alum), plus Acadia music faculty Tristan DeBorba, Krissy Keech, Nic d’Amato, and recent grad Tyler McDonald.

This event begins at 1:00pm in the FESTIVAL THEATRE.
