BAC Talk "Indelible Links: Temporary Public Art's Connective Tissues" by B Mosher

Artists often create works for public gathering areas like squares and parks. Historically, these works were commonly permanent and monumental, exerting the importance of their subject matter on the public. Currently, artists and art organizations are embracing temporality and flexibility, broadening the connections and impact that public-facing art projects can have. But what are the complexities of the ties that connect the public and artistic intent?

Coffee, tea, and light snacks will be served!

Made possible by the generous support of the Harrison McCain Foundation, the Faculty of Arts, and the Office of Research and Graduate Studies.
