Canada's National Day of Remembrance & Action on Violence Against Women

December 6, 2018 (4:30 pm - 5:30 pm)

Location: Wolfville Farmers' Market, 24 Elm Avenue

Join us for this year's event marking Canada's National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, presented by the Women’s and Gender Studies program at the Wolfville Farmers’ Market on December 6 between 4:30 and 5:30. We will commemorate the 14 women who studied and worked at the École Polytechnique in Montréal, and who were murdered there in 1989. As usual, the program will involve the participation of students, faculty members, and members of the wider community. The event is supported by the Acadia University Faculty Association and the Office of the President.

Please come and support us in our efforts to do justice to the lives of all women.
