In collaboration with the Student Health Centre and Cochrane’s Pharmasave in Wolfville, the meningitis B vaccination clinic is back! Students can receive their first dose (a doctor will be available to write the prescription) or second dose of the vaccine.

The meningitis B vaccine will not interfere with a COVID-19 vaccine, so if you have had a recent COVID-19 vaccination, you are welcome to attend this clinic.

Regardless of whether you have already received a previous dose of meningitis B vaccine at our first clinic or not, please drop in for a meningitis B vaccine. This vaccine is generally not funded by the government and is usually an extra expense to students. The opportunity for a free meningitis B vaccination for Acadia students has been made possible by the efforts of BforKai.

Please do not attend if you are symptomatic for COVID-19, in isolation, or in modified isolation. You will still have the opportunity to receive the meningitis B vaccination by booking an appointment through the Student Health Centre at a later date when you are able to attend.
