Remembrance Day Service

November 11, 2019

Location: Convocation Hall

Each year on Remembrance Day, Acadia University hosts the wider community and together remembers those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the name of freedom.

The memorial service be held at University Hall’s Convocation Hall and will begin at 10:45 a.m. on November 11. A minute of silence will take place at 11 a.m., echoing the date and time the armed forces ceased fighting in 1918. The service provides a time to remember over 100 million lives that have been lost to war since the First World War, including students, staff, and faculty from Acadia University, and from the many communities we call home.

Join Dr. Peter Ricketts, President and Vice-Chancellor at Acadia University, as we reaffirm and strengthen our commitment for a peaceful future together.
