Acadia University’s Office of African Descent and Indigenous Student Opportunity and Success will be hosting a ceremony to honour and remember the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Gender-Diverse People.

A small ceremony will be taking place on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. on the front lawn at Rhodes Hall, near the tipi. Folks are encouraged to wear red, join the Circle Experiential Exercise and share their palm print on the tipi. Everyone is invited to join Darlene Copeland, Indigenous Student Programming Advisor, in a time of remembrance to honour these individuals.
