Sustainable Energy: Reality or No Future

March 1, 2018 (12:00 pm - 1:00 pm)

Location: K.C. Irving Centre - Auditorium (lower level)

In this week's Lunchtime Learning Series session, Ed Sulis returns to discuss the critical importance of sustainable energy.

We must all accept our over-consumption, the problems therein, our energy misinformation, and work to save our future. Discussion abounds around energy conservation in our homes and all our activities, our sources of energy, and efficient energy use. Production must transition to wind and solar both for grid supply and self-generation for our homes, personal transport and recreational activities. Battery storage for commercial and home scale electricity is now available and expanding rapidly. Working examples of above considerations are included in this presentation. The presentation will conclude by looking at our future based on scientific evidence and what we must accomplish to save ourselves.

This free event from Acadia Lifelong Learning is open to the public, students, faculty, and staff.
