The internet makes our lives easier and connects us to the rest of the world. We rely increasingly on these connections, but our devices pack a lot of information about us, our friends and our family. Unfortunately, there are bad guys out there who harness that convenience to do harm. Lisa Speigel, Technology Services, will provide an overview of common cybersecurity threats and offer some protection tips.

Lisa Speigel is the Technology Business Coordinator, Acadia Technology Services. Lisa has been on the Acadia campus for 14 years. She made the jump to Technology Services almost 4 years ago. As part of her portfolio in TS, she is responsible for cybersecurity and privacy awareness. She is to blame for the “Think Before You Click” T-Shirts the TS staff have to wear each October.
