Location: Great Hall, Fountain Commons


Plan to attend the third bi-annual WISE Works!

When: September 30 from 4:45 to 7:30 pm (this includes some social time).

Where: Great Hall in the Fountain Commons

What: A career-focused event to provide Acadia students with an opportunity to engage with female Acadia Alumni/faculty who are in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math (STEAM) careers. The event is open to all interested students regardless of their program of study

Our plenary speaker, Acadia Alum, Dr. Donna Hurlburt (former Indigenous Student Adviser at Acadia, now Manager, Biodiversity with the NS Dept. Lands and Forestry), will be followed by the opportunity for Acadia students in attendance to talk speed-meeting style with sixteen WISE Advisors representing a variety of careers (some who received Arts or Professional Studies degrees before moving into STEM fields).

Pizza and beverages will be served.
