The Canadian Federation of University Women sponsors this $1,500 award for a student enrolled in one of the three core Women's and Gender Studies courses who creates a project that successfully bridges the gap between course work and community work.  Acadia's winner this year was Holly Woodworth for her project Women's and Gender Studies at Acadia: The Life History of a Program.  In the photo, she is pictured with Winnie Horton of the CFUW.
