This course will build your ability to analyze quantitative information using mathematical modeling techniques to support decision making. You'll use Microsoft Excel as the analytical tool/platform to formulate and solve problems.

Topics include:

  • Linear programming
  • Predictive modeling using regression analysis
  • Time series forecasting techniques

Throughout the course, an emphasis will be placed on applying these techniques to business problems such as investment analysis, transportation scheduling, inventory management, and market analysis.
