This course covers different contemporary themes within the Sociology of Death and Dying as selected by the student and through viewing a series of PowerPoint presentations. It is intended to enable you to conduct an in-depth examination of specific issues in this field, using a content analysis approach. As this course normally follows from SOCI 3363 (The Sociology of Death and Dying), it is assumed that you are already familiar with some of the key concepts in the discipline.
