Introductory Spanish Language 2

The fundamentals of Spanish are presented with a variety of effective teaching methods with emphasis on both oral and written expression. Customs and culture of the Spanish-speaking world are introduced through readings, films, music, and contact with Spanish speakers. By the end of the first year the student is expected to have mastered the essentials of the Spanish language.

This course is designed for students who have completed SPAN 1013, or equivalent. It builds on the previous course to further the acquisition of vocabulary and grammatical structures reinforced by oral practice and comprehension.
