The Acadia Co-op Program

You expect the world.  We offer nothing less.  Getting real-world experience in the workplace is important for any soon to be university graduate.  Cong He (Richard) chose Acadia because it has one of the best co-op programs in the country.  He knows that getting work experience before you graduate is crucial to prepare you for today’s competitive workplace.  Co-op enables current students to gain hands-on, paid experience in work terms related to their field of study giving them tangible skills, one year of work experience, contacts in the industry, a solid idea of what they want to do, and job offers...all by the time they graduate!

Cong He (Richard) is a 2+2 student from Capital Normal University (CNU) in Beijing, China.  After graduating from the Acadia EAP Bridging Program in 2015, he began his degree studies at Acadia in the Faculty of Business, studying Finance.  Richard has just successfully finished his 12-month co-op internship with the Bayer Development Operation Group in Beijing, China.  He is now working as the International Student Assistant with the Acadia English Language Centre.
