Welcome
It would be hard to find a place more beautiful – or a community more welcoming – than Acadia. We're located in a quintessential small college town, on a campus of bricks and ivy, and we put the emphasis on what matters most: community, and the student experience.
My mandate includes the support services that make our special student experience possible, from the residences where almost a third of our full-time students live, to the mental health and accessible learning services that support their wellness and promote their academic success.
I also work with the fabulous team of enrolment advisors who connect with students who would benefit from our learning environment and contribute to our community. The increasingly complicated competitive landscape in Canada and abroad makes our student recruitment efforts more important than ever.
Supporting our student recruitment and services needs is our newly formed Marketing & Communications team that celebrates the achievements of our students, faculty and staff, and demonstrates the value Acadia provides our students.
My team and I truly believe Acadia is how university life should be experienced, and it's our responsibility to ensure it continues to serve those that seek a community-based learning environment where breadth and depth of education are equally valued, and where forming the best citizens for today’s world is at the heart of all we do.
