Acadia’s Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee (JOHSC) wants all Acadia employees to get a passing grade in work-safe practices.

Maintaining a healthy work environment  is one of the pillars of the university’s strategic plan. For the past five years, Acadia has developed a health and safety management system designed to respond to employee needs under the Nova Scotia Occupational Health and Safety Act. With this system, the committee works in cooperation with employees to address health and safety issues.
