NEW & UPDATED: Acadia’s stories, info & happenings
Marketing & Communications and Tech Services have been working to improve how our community can share and learn about Acadia news, stories, info, and events.
Taking into consideration the feedback from our communications survey, we’ve made the following changes:
- Refreshed events calendar and a better way for students and employees to submit events.
- New look and feel to the News & Stories section of our website.
- Enhanced newsletter format, content, and schedule. Starting October 28, you’ll receive two shorter emails a week.
- On Monday mornings, we’ll distribute “This week at Acadia” that will showcase upcoming events and notable deadlines and opportunities.
- On Thursdays, you’ll receive a “Campus Roundup” with feature news and stories, accomplishments in our community, tips, and photos from recent events.
- New forms that make it easier than ever to share your good news and important info with the campus community:
- Applause & Accolades form (share employee accomplishments)
- Story lead form (let us know about Acadia happenings that could potentially be featured in stories or publicity)
- Campus brief form (to help us promote your ready-to-go info on things like grant opportunities, new resources, surveys, committee recruitment, and more)
