Double Shot of Scotch next up for Acadia Alumni Book Club
March 27, 2023 (7:00 pm)
Participants enjoying the experience, say it’s a club they can keep up with
Audience response to the Acadia Alumni Book Club has been great! We’ve had fantastic discussions and your enthusiasm has been off the chart. Even better, you’ve offered some amazing feedback, and we love it! Here’s what a recent participant had to say about the Club:
"I really like the pace of this book club because I like to read for enjoyment. I prefer the length of time between books. It allows me to digest the information, and this is a book club I can keep up with."
Thank you! We appreciate your support!
So far, we’ve looked at Senator Donald Oliver’s (’60, ’07 HON) highly anticipated autobiography, A Matter of Equality: The Life’s Work of Senator Don Oliver; Jim Prime’s ('69, '71) and Ben Robicheau's fictional comedy, Fish and Dicks: Case Files from the Digby Neck and Islands Fish-Gutting Service and Detective Agency; and Two Crows Sorrow, a work of creative fiction by Laura Churchill Duke (’98).
Our next book is Double Shot of Scotch, by Peter Cleveland (’72), beginning January 6, 2023. It’s on sale now and available by clicking HERE.
The next virtual Book Club meeting will occur on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 7 p.m. We look forward to seeing you, and please keep in mind: Book Club members do not have to be Acadia affiliates, and the Club is open to everyone. You can register anytime and participate in the session of your choice.
