A capacity crowd was in a celebratory mood at a reception to honour the induction of the 1993 CIAU championship-winning Acadia hockey Axemen and legendary soccer John Kehoe to the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame on November 25, 2023 in Halifax.

Holiday season in full swing at festive Toronto gathering

The holiday season is upon us and there was certainly a festive mood on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Lodge on Queen. University President Dr. Jeff Hennessy (’99) was greeted in a beautifully decorated room full of holiday spirit by a group of inquisitive and engaged alumni from various decades, including Chancellor Bruce Galloway (’68, ’03), and past Chancellor Libby Burnham (’60, ’00).

Ottawa alumni welcome new President, learn about his vision for Acadia’s future

Acadia celebrates the past, looks ahead to bright future at 185th birthday celebration

Acadia University marked its 185th birthday in fine style on November 15, 2023. A wonderfully diverse cross-section of faculty, staff, students, alumni, local and federal politicians, and members of the Wolfville community came together for Founders’ Day on Wednesday in the Sheldon L. Fountain Learning Commons to celebrate the University’s history and look forward with optimism and anticipation to a bright future.
