As a recent graduate and proud alumnus of the Acadia Cardiac Maintenance Program (ACMP), Jim Prime ('69) feels qualified to share a few thoughts on this excellent Valley resource. Classes for ACMP are held at the Acadia Arena Complex and conducted by third- and fourth-year students in the Acadia School of Kinesiology under the watchful supervision of Director Dr. Carley O’Neill (’14).

The prosperous city of Edmonton, AB saw an eclectic, energetic turnout of Acadia alumni on Tuesday evening, April 4, 2023. Lively conversations from sports to books to our nation’s current economic status dominated as guests joined Vice-President, Advancement Nancy Handrigan (’92) and Executive Director, Alumni Affairs Oonagh Proudfoot (’93, ’06) at the popular Hudsons Canada’s Pub.
The sun was setting beautifully over the harbour and smiles were plentiful at an Acadia alumni gathering in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia on Thursday, March 30, 2023.
Winners have been announced in the 38th Annual Educational Advertising Awards competition, and Acadia’s Office of Advancement has once again topped the podium with a gold and silver.
Long-time and new alumni friends enjoyed reconnecting in Florida, the first time since March 2020.
