Acadia University and the Acadia Alumni Association partnered on June 23, 2022 to celebrate faculty, staff and alumni.
Nearly 60 years after graduating from Acadia University, Dr. Paul Corkum (’65, ’06 HON) has joined a distinguished group of 11 individuals who have been awarded a 2022 Wolf Prize. Dr. Corkum and his research partners, Dr. Ferenc Krausz of Germany and Dr. Anne L’Huillier of Sweden, were named this year’s Wolf Prize Laureates in Physics for pioneering contributions to ultrafast laser science and attosecond physics.
The Acadia Alumni Association is pleased to announce that the Administrative Coordinator for Acadia's School of Kinesiology and Centre of Lifestyle Studies, Kim Vaughan, is the 2022 Acadia Alumni Association Outstanding University Service Award recipient.
Mitch Maracle (’22), a member of the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte, was named on June 15, 2022 as one of only 20 recipients from a pool of close to 800 of the $10,000 per year (for up to four years) RBC Indigenous Youth Scholarship.
