Acadia alumni turned out for a delightful wine-tasting event at Magnetic Hill Winery in Moncton, NB on Thursday, May 24, 2018. It was the final event on a week-long, whirlwind tour of New Brunswick that saw Executive Director of Alumni Affairs Ian Murray (’88), Executive Director of Philanthropy Nancy Handrigan (’92), and Marketing and Development Officer, Acadia Athletics, Len Hawley, visit Fredericton, Saint John and then Moncton to share news and information about the University. Acadia professor Dr. Matt McSweeney was the evening’s special guest. He spoke about his ongoing research into what defines our appreciation of food and food products and received a very warm welcome from attendees.
