Much-needed rain on the west coast didn’t keep anyone from attending our alumni gathering in Vancouver on Oct. 27, 2022. VP Advancement (Interim) Nancy Handrigan (’92) and ED, Alumni Affairs Oonagh Proudfoot (’93, ’06) were joined by a fine group of alumni who spent time sharing stories of how they met and what they’re doing now while toasting the fact that “Acadia is the real university experience,” as expressed by Mahmoud Istanbouli (’16). John O’Flynn, father of current student Michael O’Flynn, joined us as well. Having only been to Wolfville once due to the pandemic, he saw that we were in town and wanted to get to know his son’s school of choice better. Guests agreed they’re already looking forward to our next visit, and we can’t wait! Pictured here with Oonagh are Adam Wong (’20) and Anthony Chu (’19).
