A cool evening didn’t prevent an enthusiastic group of Acadia alumni from gathering in beautiful Bermuda on March 9, 2023. Spanning grad years 1956 to 2019, guests included native Bermudians and several who have made Bermuda home for decades. Acadia Board of Governors member Shanna Lespere (’89) and Campaign for Acadia Cabinet member Justice Larry Mussenden (’86) were among the group, as was the first recipient of the Bermuda Alumni Award, Zawditu Augustus (’19). It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with so many devoted Acadia alumni, many of whom are planning a return to campus soon to once again “takeover” Homecoming!
