Energetic crowd enjoys alumni event in The Bahamas

A small but enthusiastic crowd of Acadia alumni and friends gathered on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020 at the British Colonial Hilton in Nassau, The Bahamas for a casual get-together and to hear news and information about the University. The evening was hosted by Manager of Alumni Affairs (Acting) Oonagh Proudfoot (’93, ’06), who reported that the energy in the room was celebratory and infectious. Guests were delighted to hear updates from international enrolment advisor Ana Martin about the University’s recent student recruitment efforts and Proudfoot offered insights into the current status of the most ambitious fundraising campaign in Acadia’s history, Campaign for Acadia. It was a pleasure to bring a little bit of Wolfville back to The Bahamas during this visit and we can’t wait to return to see all our Acadia friends next time around! Pictured enjoying the evening are: Giselle Deane (’15), Cazna Hinds (’19), Terria Moxey (’15), Kevin Turnquest II (’15), Greer Deane (’17), and Ana Martin (’19).
