More than 225 high school students visited Acadia University March 9 and participated in a full slate of events as part of Experience Acadia Day 2012. Alumnus Irvin d’Eon (’85), left, from West Pubnico, Nova Scotia came with his son Ryan to Wolfville. Experience Acadia participants attended mini lectures, registered for their courses, enjoyed a complimentary lunch and then had some fun playing Acadia’s version of The Amazing Race.  Ryan, who attends Ecole secondaire de Par-en-bas in Tusket, says he wants to take history and suggests his dad was the primary reason why he chose Acadia. “I’ve heard good things about Acadia,” he added, “and it’s not too far from home.” Irvin’s sister, Marie Boudreau (’83), is also an Acadia grad.
