Each year, we award more than $4 million to students in the form of scholarships, scholar-bursaries, bursaries, awards, and prizes. By maintaining a strong scholarship and financial assistance program, we are able to attract, retain and support our students.

Prize of up to $80 | Eligibility: Arts, History, Current 2nd year, Current 3rd year, Current 4th year
The E. Blanche Thomas History Prize. An endowed prize of $80 bequeathed by Miss E. Blanche Thomas (Acadia, 1914) is awarded annually on nomination of the Department of History to the honours student in history with the highest overall academic record
Prize of up to $500 | Eligibility: Pure and Applied Science, Chemistry, Current 1st year
A prize provided by students and colleagues of Dr. Everett P. Linton, member of the Department 1936 to 1975 and Head from 1966 to 1975, is awarded to the student major in the first year of a chemistry program who has achieved highest marks in six hours of chemistry.
