December 6, 2019 (4:00 pm - 5:00 pm)

Location: Wolfville Farmers' Market

December 6th is Canada’s National Day of Remembrance & Action on Violence against Women.

Every year, Acadia's Women's and Gender Studies Program holds a ceremony to commemorate the lives of the 14 women who were killed on Dec 6, 1989 at the École Polytechnique in Montreal by a gunman who blamed feminists for his failures.

The ceremony will be held from 4.00-5.00 pm on Friday, December 6th at the Wolfville Farmers’ Market.
