Nutrition and Dietetics seminars

Senior Seminar (NUTR 4903) is the capstone course for the Bachelor of Science in Nutrition in the School of Nutrition and Dietetics. Students engage in independent research projects on a topic of their choice related to food, nutrition, and/or dietetics. The course is a celebration of learning, drawing on courses taken throughout the degree. Campus and community members are most welcome.

 

The class is held Tuesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. in the KCIC Auditorium..

Stephaine Blais - Challenges associated with entry acceptance and providing required care for children with type 1 diabetes in daycares; making daycare more inclusive for children with type 1 diabetes.

Lindsay Goodridge - The Psychosocial Concerns of Gender-Variant individuals’ Eating Experiences and How Nutrition Professionals Can Improve Care for This Cohort.

Taylor Janes & Lindsay Blois - A reflection on the Diets Project: An exploration of the evolution of the MNT over the last 100 years with considerations for future implications.
