Join us on Zoom for a special keynote presentation in celebration of International Women’s Day (one week late) and the Community Development Leadership Award. This online event is open to Acadia and the community.

Crystal Watson has worked in the recreation field since the 1990s. Her experience in Therapeutic Recreation includes transitional and long-term care, physical medicine, and acute care settings. Crystal is a PhD candidate at Dalhousie University studying the outdoor play experiences of Black children.  She is also the Academic Chair for the School of Health and Human Services at Nova Scotia Community College Ivany Campus.
