Academic Calendar - Remembrance Day - no classes.

 At Acadia University, in partnership with the Dr. C. B. Lumsden MM Branch No. 74 Wolfville, Royal Canadian Legion, the campus and community are invited to attend a Remembrance Day Service on Friday, November 11, which will begin at 10:40 a.m.  

Please ensure you are seated in Convocation Hall by 10:30 a.m.  

After the service, there will be a ceremonial march down University Avenue along Main Street to the War Memorial in front of the Wolfville Post Office. There, a wreath-laying ceremony will take place at approximately 11:30 a.m. 

Before the November 11 event, wreaths will also be placed at the cenotaph in front of Acadia’s War Memorial Building. You are welcome to view the memorial and remember Acadia’s campus community members who made the ultimate sacrifice.
