COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic

January 21, 2022 (8:30 am - 3:30 pm)

Location: Fountain Learning Commons - Great Room (second floor)

We are holding our first vaccine clinic of 2022 this Friday, January 21. A limited supply of both Moderna and Pfizer vaccines will be available, with priority given to students and employees who are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated.

We have tentatively scheduled additional clinics on February 25 and March 18. You must wait 56 days between your first and second doses, so if you receive your first dose at this event, you can receive your second at the March 18 clinic.

Guidelines

We will be following provincial guidelines for providing doses:

  • People age 18 and over are eligible for a Moderna COVID-19 vaccine appointment.
  • Additional dose - for individuals who are immunocompromised or approved for a work-related travel exception or received a non-Health Canada approved vaccine out of country.
  • Booster dose - 168 days after the last dose for: residents and designated care givers of congregate living facilities; individuals over the age of 18 or have received two doses of AstraZeneca/CoviShield or one dose of Janssen; and frontline Healthcare workers.

Visit the province's website to learn more about vaccine eligibility by age or for further information about the vaccine.

Priority

We are prioritizing our supply of vaccines towards those who are unvaccinated or only partially vaccinated, and by the criteria below:

  1. Students in residence who have had no doses of COVID-19 vaccine to date.
  2. Students living off-campus who have had no doses of COVID-19 vaccine to date.
  3. Employees who have had no doses of COVID-19 to date.
  4. Students in residence who are only partially vaccinated, or vaccinated with a vaccine not approved in Canada, and require further doses.
  5. Students living off-campus who are only partially vaccinated, or vaccinated with a vaccine not approved in Canada, and require further doses.
  6. All other campus members for booster doses.
