Valley and Acadia Pride Walk/Run
June 24, 2023 (1:00 pm - 4:00 pm)
Location: Willow Park, Wolfville NS
This year marks the 3rd Annual Acadia and Valley 5km Pride Walk/Run happening on June 24th! The event will span over the time of 1:00PM until 4:00PM AST where runners will take their mark at 1:30PM starting across the street on the Harvest Moon trail (Nova Scotia fire ban in place, course will change if required come date of event). Folks looking to participate in the walk portion of the event will follow the new route through town, celebrating pride through the beautiful Town of Wolfville and gathering folks to bring back for more fun! AAAAAAAANNND as always! Not into walking or running? Well there will be plenty of opportunities for fun at the location of our event with lawn games, treats, and the lovely splash pad @ Willow Park!

Becoming a sponsor - Lets learn!
Recognizing our own organizational structure and the importance of un-learning and re-learning, we are providing a unique form of sponsorship this year by asking businesses and individuals to take part in our Moving Beyond the Binary: a Guide on How to Make Your Organization Meaningfully Inclusive of Two-Spirit, Trans, Non-Binary, and Gender Diverse People training session being provided in person the week of the run. We ask that businesses interested in taking part of this training provide funding for the team members you wish to attend the training as we have folks from Legal Aid Nova Scotia helping with leading this training.
