Your Acadia username

Your username is the first part of your e-mail address without the “@acadiau.ca”. To connect to Microsoft 365, you’ll log in using your e-mail address. For all other resources including Wi-Fi, Moodle, Self-Service, etc. you’ll log in with your username.

Your Acadia e-mail is how your professors, Tech Services, and other departments will contact you, so be sure to check it regularly. You can access your e-mail through an app (e.g., Outlook, Apple Mail) or the Microsoft 365 Portal. Click here to learn more.

Connecting to Wi-Fi

Once you arrive on campus, you’ll be able to connect your computer and phone to campus Wi-Fi by selecting Acadia (not AcadiaGuest) as the preferred network.

The Acadia network provides more security and access to all campus resources. Remember to log in with your Acadia username!

Cybersecurity

Your online accounts contain personal information so it’s important to protect yourself. Look out for phishing schemes, create a unique password for your account and never share that password. We suggest using a password manager app like 1Password or Lastpass.
