Due Diligence Analyst


Beaumont Advisors Limited is a specialized consulting firm that conducts operational due diligence of asset managers and investment vehicles, including hedge funds and private equity funds, for some of the world’s largest and most sophisticated investors. We are based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and our clients and the subjects of our due diligence are located globally. We are looking for a Due Diligence Analyst to join our team. If you enjoy technical reading and research, have strong writing skills and an analytical mindset, we encourage your application.

Your job activities will include:
• Completing detailed reviews of key corporate and legal documents  
• Pulling key data from documents for analysis and inclusion in our client reports  
• Providing support to team leads in arranging and preparing for virtual or on-site visits with fund managers and service providers  
• Attending these virtual and on-site meetings; observing and documenting in-depth interviews with senior professionals (note: international travel may be required after requisite experience is obtained)  
• Evaluating the quality of hedge fund operational systems, processes and internal controls, and identifying key risk areas  
• Researching and presenting information on market developments, industry trends, and regulatory matters to our team of professionals  

You have:  
• A relevant undergraduate degree  
• Excellent written communication skills  
• Extraordinary attention to detail  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects  
• Positive outlook and attitude
