Mental Health

Welcome to the Counselling Centre

The Counselling Centre offers a confidential, safe, and caring place for students to access support.

We offer evidence-based mental health services, proactive mental health care, and mental health education to enhance and support students' living and learning. We provide individual and group counselling, and we can also connect you with other campus and community resources.

Our Commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

We respect and celebrate the diversity of Acadia’s student population. This includes providing programs and services that are anti-oppressive, culturally responsive, accessible, and adaptive. We work to promote student mental health in equitable and trauma-informed ways, and actively seek opportunities to promote inclusion and diverse representation.

COVID-19 Health and Safety

We will follow Acadia University’s updated health and safety protocols beginning September 1, 2022.

Please wear a mask when you come to the Counselling Centre and if you are feeling unwell, please either change your in person to a virtual appointment or reschedule.
