As students, faculty, and staff, we're all here to learn, and we're all part of a community. Let's give each other the respect that we want to receive.
We come from different places, we have different religions and beliefs, and we all think differently, but we should have a home here. During your time at Acadia, members of our 2SLGBTQIA+ community will be your friends, classmates, teammates, and teachers. Let's all continue to build a campus community that's fair, understanding, and open-minded.
We strive to make all students feel safe and welcome. If you would like someone to talk to or if you have questions about your sexuality or identity, we encourage you to consider speaking with the fantastic people on campus at the Counselling Centre or Peer Support, including Acadia Pride. You may also find the Valley Youth Project and Nova Scotia Health Authority's Pride Health to be of interest.

Acadia University both aspires, and commits, to principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion. The University believes that the learning, teaching and research environment should be accessible and affirming to the individuals that comprise it.
