Acadia Interim Loan Program

Acadia has a loan program to help students in financial need. If you are unable to afford textbooks or rent while you are waiting for provincial loan funding, you can request a short-term repayable loan.

The loan is repayable with interest within the academic year.

Criteria:

You must be registered as a full-time student in a degree program at Acadia University.

  • Establish your financial need.
  • Make your request in writing, including the amount of funds required and an explanation of why the funds are needed.
  • Submit a copy of your student loan assessment.

Your application will be assessed based on the minimum costs of education for the academic year. Claims will not be considered for payment of fees owing on your university account.
